Istanbul Kültür University Department of Economics organized an e-interview titled "Why We Fail?" On Tuesday, March 2 with the participation of Former Finance Minister Kaya Erdem.

In the interview where the relationship between democratization and economic welfare was discussed, Erdem “Why We Fail?” conveyed his views on the subject of “Why Can't We Succeed?" within the scope of the relationship between democracy, enlightenment and prosperity. The event, which the participants also contributed with their questions and comments, continued with the anecdotes of Kaya Erdem's experiences, who played an active role in the formation of economic policies in the 1980s and later as the Deputy Prime Minister Responsible for the Economy.
