Department of Economics held a e-seminar which Prof. Dr. Harun Öztürkler is a speaker titled "Covid-19’s Effects on Turkey's Economy" on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. A wide range of effects on Turkey's economy and Covid-19 was transferred to the participants at the event covered economic policies. TurkStat data and past crises were discussed, and the emergence of two demand and supply shocks were discussed. adequacy of Turkey's fiscal and monetary policies implemented since March 2020, and discussed what should be done in the future. Policies to be implemented in order not to lose employment were also discussed at the event.
